Selva, as he is fondly known, is all set to tie the knot with his flame, actress Sonia Agarwal (who herself shot to fame with Selva’s films Kaadhal Kondein, 7G Rainbow Colony and Pudhupettai) in just a couple of days from now.
The wedding was impending for a long time, but Selva has been busy shooting for his Telugu project with Venkatesh and Trisha; and has just started work on his next Tamil film, starring Karthik and Sandya, Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam.
Selvaraghavan and Sonia have kept their relationship admirably dignified. They have managed to be discreet yet honest and this is something to admire in this day and age, where one can see celebrities either flaunting their love-lives or overly dramatizing their “secretive” relationships.
While the wedding preparations are going full-swing, Selva continues to be busy with work until the last possible minute, shooting in Rajamundhry (which seems to be a favourite shooting locale these days). He will return just in time for the wedding and then off for their reception and ceremonies in Chandigarh soon after. Of course, ever the film maker, reports say that he will be back within a few days to continue with his work.
The wedding, to be held at one of Chennai’s most prestigious and beautiful halls in Egmore, Chennai, is going to be star-studded no doubt; and as trend seems to go these days, it will also be graced by eminent political figures, spearheaded by the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu.
Selvaraghavan is a man of today’s world.
