Not just any fan but one who misbehaved with her!
Being a cine star has its own pros and cons. Along with the fame and fortune come loss of privacy. People tend to view stars as mere talking dolls and puppets, which can sometimes have adverse affects. Even the actress who puts on quite a glamour show on the silver screen is a woman.
Shriya, who comes across as one of those actresses who have no qualms about wearing skimpy clothes, had a rather horrible experience recently. She had just stepped out of the Tirumala temple on the morning of April 7th after a darshan when she was approached by journalists. And it was while talking to them that a crazy fan dared to pinch the actress’ hip. Outraged, she slapped him right there. This incident has been extensively covered by the media and she has been chided for her bad treatment of a fan. However, one must remember that just because she is an actress it does not mean that she is public property. Fans should remember this and treat their favourite stars with some respect.
