The world's most popular music magazine, Rolling Stone, was launched on 27th February in the midst of India's best rock n roll ensemble by Mr. N. Radhakrishnan, editor and publisher, Rolling Stone India and Anuradha Mahindra, editor-in-chief, Rolling Stone India at the Hard Rock Café.
For nearly four decades, Rolling Stone has been the last word in rock n roll reportage and criticism. It is the most respected music magazine in the world, both among music lovers and musicians
The select guests present were Kamal Haasan, who came with family to see his daughter Shruthi Haasan's first live performance. Other celebs at the launch include Madhavan with wife, Bikram Saluja, Mohan & Guni Murjani, Suresh & Devika Bhojwani, Kailash & Aarti Surendranath, Luke Kenny, Leslie Lewis, Rajat Kapoor, Minisha Lamba, Sunita Rao, Rashmi Uday Singh, Sujata Asumal, Masumeh, Himanshu Malik with wife, Vishal-Shekhar, Malvika Sanghavi, Gary Lawyer, Raghu Dixit and Vinta Nanda.
The bands that performed were Neuman and chorus, Clary D., Nandu Bhende, Gary Lawyer, Vivienne, Brian Tellis, Rajiv Raja and Merlin, Chari and Rhyz, Shazneen, Shruti Haasan, Zero, Pentagram and Indus Creed, amongst many others.
