Sibiraj and Revathi are perhaps the luckiest couple. It was like the entire Tamil Nadu came over to bless them. Their wedding reception was one of the grandest functions that Kollywood has witnessed. It could be said that the couple was blessed by the pillars of Tamil Nadu, as the elite guest list comprised eminent personalities from the world of politics, business, and films.

Politicians who attended this grand function include: CM Dr. M. Karunanidhi and his wife, R.M. Veerappan, Ka. Anbazhagan, G.K. Vasan, Veeramani, T.R. Balu, Durai Murugan, Arcot Veerasami, Kanimozhi and Dayanidhi Maran.
Also present were A.C. Shanmugam and CM’s grandson Udayanidhi Stalin and his wife.
Film personalities: Lots of them! With all the stars in here, it must have been a holiday for the workaholic film industry! The pleasant surprise of the evening was Vyjayanthimala Bali, who still looks so beautiful. Industrialist-producer Abhirami Ramanathan came to bless the couple with fresh and sweet memories from his Mani Vizha. It will not be hard to guess what blessing he would have bestowed upon the couple: May you witness many happy “Mani Vizhakkal”!
An array of producers and directors marched in to bless the couple including KRG, Ramanarayanan (president of Producers' Council), Thenappan, R.B. Chowdary, P.Vasu, S.A. Chandrasekhar, R.K. Selvamani, Balu Mahendra, director Hari and his wife.
Suriya and Jyotika looked such a beautiful couple. Mr. and Mrs. Mani Ratnam greeted the couple and exchanged a few jokes with them too. Yesteryear music director MSV and veteran actors including Sivakumar, Latha, Sacchu, SSR, K.R. Vijaya and Manorama blessed the couple. Eminent singer Yesudas and eminent poet Vairamuthu were also present. Stunt-choreographer-turned-producer Jaguar Thangam and his son exchanged pleasantries with the couple.
Actors Nizhalgal Ravi, S.Ve. Sekhar and his family, J.K. Riteesh, Meena, Karthik, Radikaa, Jayam Ravi, Murali, Swarnamaliya, and the list goes on! Everywhere one turned, one could see a group of VIPs standing and chatting with each other. It was an unforgettable evening!
