Now it is Simbu's turn to feature an oldie set to new and catchy instrumentation. Simbu's Manmadhan had one of the best remixes 'En Asai Maithiliye' lifted from his father Vijaya.T. Rajendar's hit.
Now Silambaattam has 'Nalamthaanaa' from the classic Sivaji film Thillana Mohanambal.
Silambaattam, produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers and directed by cinematographer Saravanan, has Simbu in the lead role. Music is by Dheena.
Of course, audience will be curious to see how this song with a classical base is going to get dressed up with contemporary sounds.
