Silandhi has been in the news of late because of the steamy stills that were recently released to the media, pictures portraying the young starlet Monica in rather glamorous outfits. For everyone who believed that she would be the traditional fully-clothed actress, amidst the fresh crop of actresses who have no qualms about wearing skimpy clothes, this came as quite a shock. But this time around, Silandhi is in the news because its music director Neil Mukherjee has quit.
Word has it that director Aadhiraj criticised the rerecording which upset Neil Mukherjee. After a long discussion, they parted ways and it is M. Karthik, who has worked on several ads, who is now working on the RR now. Aadhiraj, however, holds no grudge against Neil for walking out just days before the movie’s release. On the contrary, the director continues to praise his work, adding that Neil has a lot of potential.
