Actor Simbu, who is currently shooting for NIC Arts production Kaalai, suffered an injury during the shoot.
Simbu was dancing with actress Vedika at Prasad Studios for the song ‘Kutty Pisase… Kutty Pisase’. Simbu, a trained dancer, injured his thumb when trying out a fast dance movement under the supervision of choreographer Yasin.
Simbu, who was squirming in pain, was immediately rushed to a private hospital. An X-ray revealed that Simbu had fractured his thumb.
The shooting was then called off.
