Actor Sivakumar, Suriya’s father, while speaking at the launch of Herovaa Zerovaa, explained how his parents struggled to pay the meagre school fees of Rs. 5 for him and his sister. Finally, they decided that Sivakumar alone would go to school since he would be the bread-winner for the family. And he fulfilled this duty with style, as we all know. He made sure that his sister had a good life. He said that all these childhood challenges made him understand the value of education better and instilled in him a desire to something to promote this powerful tool.
The result – Agaram Foundation. Suriya made sure he fulfilled his father’s desire. Today, Agaram Foundation has adopted two schools and takes care of them in a good manner. It is also involved in promotional activities like the documentary Herovaa Zerovaa.
