The developments towards Billa 2 are progressing fast. Soundarya had decided that she would retain the Billa team in the sequel as well as maintain continuity with Billa. But now, it looks like director Vishnuvardhan has opted out owing to his busy schedule. This has sparked a new idea in Soundarya’s mind: The idea of directing Billa 2. It has not yet been officially confirmed and is still said to be in the discussion stage. Though Warner Bros. Pictures India is encouraging her to undertake the responsibility of directing this movie, she is also looking for other directors. We will have to wait and see whether she will direct this movie or not.
