After a jubilant start with Roja Koottam, followed by Parthiban Kanavu and Bose, Srikanth alternated between action and romance.
His forthcoming film Ettappan presents him in a never-seen-before role, that of a hero with villainous qualities. This antihero subject is expected to initiate a refreshing image for the popular hero.
Ettappan is said to be a remake of Kannada movie Buddhivantha featuring Upendra. The movie is directed by Maheshwaran, and has Navya Nair in the female lead.
