Parvathi Melton, who entered Telugu industry through Vennela, will play the heroine in the Tamil film Poo.
She was also one of the heroines in the long list considered for Bala's Naan Kadavul. Parvathi also featured in the big hit Hello in Malayalam with Mohanlal. Though busy in Telugu, Parvathi has got some meaty roles in Hindi too.
Poo is directed by Sasi and has Srikanth as the hero.
Sasi has chosen Parvathi for Poo because he feels she is suitable for the role. Shooting for Poo will commence soon. Music is by S.S. Kumaran and camera work is by Sakthi Saravanan.
