Music Director Srikanth Deva said at a press meet today that he is absolutely delighted to have been a part of Nepaali. Sure that the movie will be a turning point in his musical career, he added that he usually does rerecording for his movies in a few days, but for Nepaali, it took him more than twenty days! This was because he had to make music unique to each of the three get ups of Bharath.
Srikanth Deva’s kitty is full of interesting projects. He is happy to be a part of Arasgam, Captain’s 150th film, and is equally thrilled about working in Kavithalaya’s next movie Krishnaleela that stars Jeevan. Srikanth is also composing music for Director Selva’s next movie to be produced by KRG with Madhavan in the lead. He has also been signed on for Pyramid Saimira’s next three movies, one of which is a rural subject called Vaanam Partha Seemaiyiley from Amudha Durairaj. He is not averse to remixes and has done a remix of the song 'Kadhal Vaivogamey' [Suvarilladha Sithirangal] for Perumal.
The music director smilinly added that he has been approached time and again to do villain roles and has turned them down with no hesitation. He wishes to make a name like A.R. Rahman or Ilayaraja and is hence focussing only on music.
With Nepaali releasing tomorrow, every member of the movie eagerly awaits the public’s verdict. We wish them lots of luck!
