From Tamil to Malay

Sundar C.’s super hit comedy flick Ullathai Alli Tha which has the whole of Tamilnadu rolling in laughter, is now being made in Malay. Starring Karthik and Ramba, with Manivannan in a dual role, Ullathai Alli Tha was a big career-booster for Sundar C. and a great kickstart for the then-novice Rambha. It was also a much-awaited break for Karthik. The songs, though mostly inspired tunes, were also quite a hit.
