Director-turned-actor Sundar C. has emerged as a successful actor these days. The latest we hear is that he is all set to use his director’s chair after a long gap.

Reportedly, he has acquired the remake rights of a Kannada film and a Telugu film. At the moment, Sundar C. has not decided which to start first. The film will be produced under his wife Khushbu's banner Avani Cine Makers.

Meanwhile, his next release Murattu Kaalai is ready but the team is still waiting for big flicks like Vettaikaran, Paiyya and Aayirathil Oruvan to get released. His next flick would be Vaadaa. Apart from these, Sundar C. is joining hands with Sathyaraj for the first time for Guru Sishyan which is nearing completion.
