The whole industry is rocking with the news about Superstar Rajinikanth’s next movie after Sivaji, the blockbuster of 2007. While all of us are looking forward to current updates about the remarkable production, official announcements about the cast and crew of the movie will be made after January 18th, 2008. This was announced in a press meet organised today. Director P. Vasu, ace director K. Balachander, script writer Sreenivasan, Vijayakumar of Vyjayanthi Films, Ashwini Dutt of Seven Arts Films and actor Mukesh were present in the press meet.
Rajni, who viewed the special screening of the Malayalam movie Katha Parayumbol, expressed his interest to work in its Tamil remake. The story deals with the relationship between a village barber and a superstar who comes to the village for a film shooting.
The Tamil remake, which will be directed by veteran P. Vasu, will be simulataneously made in Tamil as well as Telugu. In Tamil, it will be produced by K. Balachander’s Kavithalaya films and Seven Arts Films. Vyjayanthi Films and Seven Arts Films will produce it in Telugu.
Shooting will begin by the end of February and the film will be completed by the end of June, before Shankar’s Robot starts.
