Tamanna, who made her debut opposite Ravikrishna in KD, is currently the toast of Kollywood. She plays the lead in Kalloori, produced by director Shankar’s S Pictures and has Balaji Sakthivel of Kaadhal fame as the director.
The film is all set to release this Friday and is claimed to be a realistic depiction of college life.
The hot news now is that Tamanna has been signed up to star opposite Suriya. The untitled film happens to be AVM’s venture after the record-setting Sivaji and is to be directed by cameraman-turned-director K.V. Anand.
The film will go to floors once Suriya completes Vaaranaayiram with Gautham Menon.
Meanwhile, Tamanna has struck gold in Telugu too with her film Happy Days turning out to be a blockbuster.
With AVM’s film in her kitty, industry sources say that Tamanna is going to be the next big thing in Kollywood. With all this buzz around her, it looks like Tamanna has certainly moved into the big league.
