Rajinikanth is in Udumalai shooting for Kuselan. It has been quite a while since Rajinikanth did any outdoor shooting in Tamil Nadu. These days, any outdoor shooting related to Rajinikanth’s movies is held outside Tamil Nadu or India as it is hard to tackle the massive crowd that comes to see him. Even in Kuselan, major portions of the film have been shot within Ramoji Rao Film City.
There is a scene in Kuselan in which Rajinikant addresses a large assembly of school children. To make it look natural, the think tank of the film decided to shoot this scene in Sainik School, Udumalai. A massive crowd came down to see Rajni; he greeted them and acknowledged their cheers. Luckily, the crowd was not as unruly as it was when Rajinikanth was shooting in Central Railway Station for Sivaji.
Well, obviously Central Railway Station is not a place to shoot a Rajinikanth movie! It is a central area in Chennai and a converging point for people from different states. It might contain fans of Rajni from different states too! Think of their reaction when they catch up with their favourite actor. Looks like the Sivaji crew learnt it the hard way.
