Thenavettu deals with the experiences of a young man who migrates to the city in search of employment. The realistic story is told with a likeable mix of commercial masala. Jiiva and Poonam Bajwa play the lead roles and Srikanth Deva has scored the music. 'Onnu Randu' is in Tippu and Ganga's voices. Both these experienced singers bring about a wholesome feeling to the duet. 'Enakkena Pirandhavalo' too reflects their mature touch. The trio, comprising Karthik, Suchithra and Arun, make the song awesome. 'Enakkae Irunthal' is a sweet solo. Harris Raghavendra's lustrous tone gives charm and adds an endearing quality to the song.
Thenavettu has good, enjoyable music.
