Thodakkam is a film whose release has been delayed for quite some time now. Originaly named Arambam, Thodakkam is a Vijayendran Productions project directed by Muthu Kumar and captured on camera by Vel Murugan.
Thodakkam is the story of five friends who dream of leaving India to settle down in the United States of America. But the events of a single night brings about a change in their minds, influencing and inspiring them to stay home – to stay back in India. Raghuvaran, in the role of the President of India, plays a pivotal role in the movie. The five friends are played by Raghu, Monika, Abinay, Rishi and Mega Nayar. One must not forget to mention that for the first time twe have a movie with 9 villains!! They have already caught our attention haven’t they?! For more details, we’ll have to wait a while.
But there is one part of the movie that you can sample right away. Jeyarom Pushparaj has scored the music;today, the whole world gets to check out the tunes he’s composed for Thodakkam. The audio release for the movie took place today amidst the cheers of the crew and several top guns from the cinema industry. The movie is scheduled to release in a month.
