Thoovaanam hit the screens last week. The film is special because of one of it actors, Tusharaa.
Last year, Tusharaa was India's representative to a very special show. She was the Hearing Impaired model for "I Believe" Campaign organised by a leading women's magazine.
And how was it working with Tusharaa?
The crew says it was not too difficult for them. As she is very good in lip-reading, she was able to grasp well and respond properly.
Nethra, who plays the female lead in the film, said that she used to pinch Tusharaa to give her an cue for her dialogue delivery. She also said that she was an inspiration to all.
Tusharaa learnt sign language to relate to her character of Gayathri in the film who is speech and hearing impaired.
