That’s precisely the confidence that the director and his crew have in their soon-to-release movie.
Director Sunderaswaran, who has worked with eminent directors such as K. Balachandar, Sundar K. Vijayan and Yar Kannan, is the man behind Thozha. He promises that Thozha will be an all-round entertainer with every scene making a big impact. The screenplay is such that the audience will be intrigued and yearn to know 'what next'. He added that the movie also has its share of commercial ingredients, but will be a movie that one can watch with family members without blushing.
An important highlight of the film is that Prem G. Amaran, who plays a significant role in the script, is also the music composer. Even though he has tried his hand at composing by making a couple of songs for Chennai 600028, this will be the first time he has composed all the songs for a movie. The songs are out and he has earned a pat onhis back. 'Va Thozha' and the 'Oru Nayagan' remix are quite remarkable.
Starring in the movie are four of the Chennai 6000028 boys – Nitin Sathya, Prem G., Ajayraj and 'Vasanth & Co' Vijay. The lead ladies are debutantes Sagithya, Jennifer and Lakshana. In supporting roles we have Venniradai Moorthy, Delhi Kumar, Babylonia, Sasi, Ajay Ratnam and many others.
Thozha is scheduled to releae late in April, once the exam season gets over, and student audiences are free to crowd the theatres, because the movie caters to their tastes too.
