There are strong rumours on the Kollywood grapevine that Trisha and Shriya will star as heroines in Marmayogi, the 100-crore project of Kamal Haasan and Pyramid Saimira. Well, if this news turns out to be true, it will be a treat to watch the two most famous ladies of Kollywood together in a film. (Earlier, it was rumoured that Kajol and Padmapriya would act alongside Kamal Haasan.)
But one thing is for sure – Marmayogi will feature Hema Malini, the dream girl of Bollywood in the 70s and 80s. Marmayogi is believed to be a period film, whose story and script have been written by Kamal Haasan; and whenever he has done that, he has produced a masterpiece. Examples include Thevar Magan, Nala Damayanthi, Anbe Sivam, Hey Ram, Virumandi, Dasavathaaram, etc.
Marmayogi has generated a huge curiosity wave following Dasavathaaram’s success.
