The music launch of Uliyin Osai – a movie based on “Sarappallam Samundi”, a short story written in the sixties by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Kalaignar Karunanidhi – will take place today at 6 p.m. at University Centenary building at Chepauk.
The first audio CD will be given by Mr. Karunanidhi to director Bharathiraja. K. Balachander is the chief guest of this function.
CM Karunanidhi has also written a few songs of this film. The other lyricists are Vaali, Muthulingam, Kamakotiyan, Pazhani Bharathi, Na. Muthukumar and Snegan. Famous writer Ilavenil has directed this film produced by Thiruvottriyur S.P. Murugesan. Vineeth and Keerthi Chawla are in the lead roles.
