Sameera Reddy is the new heroine for Vaaranam Aayiram.
The Suriya starrer directed by Goutham Menon had earlier booked Genelia as the heroine. Genelia bowed out of the project because her dates were not used for Vaaranam..as Suriya was busy shooting for Vel.
Now shooting for Vel is completed and the new schedule for Vaaranam.. will begin with Suriya and Sameera.
