Thirumurugan, who made a successful debut with Em Magan, is back now with Muniyandi Vilangiyal Moondramandu with Bharath and newcomer Poorna in the lead roles.
As in Em Mahan, comedian Vadivelu plays a crucial role in this film. He plays the role of a village exorcist, Sorimuthu. According to the story, Bharath and Poorna fall in love. As Poorna remains dreamy-eyed, her parents decide that she has been taken over by spirits and send for Sorimuthu to drive away the evil spirits.
Sorimuthu, on the other hand, is a fake. He enters Poorna’s room and starts singing. Some moments later, everyone hears a scream and think that the exorcist has driven away the spirits. Much to their amusement, they find the exorcist running out the room. This hilarious scene was recently filmed in Pollachi.
