Listen and download Vallamai Thaaraayo songs
Vallamai Thaaraayo, a sensitive film by Madhumita, stars Parthiban and Chaya Singh in lead roles. Bharadwaj's music for the movie goes along with the theme. He has used a variety of voices for all the ten songs in the album. Experienced singers like S.P.B. and Chithra as well as exotic voices like Suchithra Raman and Janani Bharadwaj have found an apt place in the Vallamai Thaaraayo album.
'En Veettil', the first song in the album, is a melodious tune. The instrumental interludes and the lively dialogues are its highlights.
After a lengthy instrumental prelude begins 'Kolattam', a happy song. Bharadwaj, Janani Bharadwaj and Jaya's voices offer a heady fusion effect.
'Megham Illamal' is a sad solo by Bharadwaj. The composer has added his vocal support to most of the songs in the album. Of all, this song stands out because of its heart-breaking words and harmonious music.
'Unnai thaan Unnai thaan' has two solo versions. Anuradha Sriram has sung for the heroine and Bharadwaj for the hero.
The Hindustani track of the 'Vallamai Tharaayo' theme song sung by Suchithra Raman and Bharadwaj is genuinely enjoyable. Suchithra's voice flows like a gentle stream and its texture is soft and sweet. Bharadwaj's voice contains a wellspring of emotions. Both complement each other. Again, when Bharadwaj repeats the same theme alone, there is a different emotion in his voice, sad and painful.
'Mangalam Pongidum Dhinam' by SPB is a typical 'Oonjal' tune; 'Aayiram Vaanavil' by Chinmayee brings to mind some old and familiar hits.
All ten tracks that Bharadwaj has used for Vallamai Thaaraayo are refreshing and instantly steal listeners' hearts.
