We’ve sped past New Year and Pongal, but Suriya and Dhanush are still celebrating Diwali!
Pollaadhavan in the direction of Vettrimaran, with Dhanush, Ramya and Daniel Balaji in the cast released on Diwali 2008. An action and comedy treat from start to end, the movie was a runaway success, and a much-needed break for Dhanush. For the debutante director, Polladhavan proved the trump card which even fetched praise from stalwarts like Rajni and Chiranjeevi! Today marks the 100th day of the movie, and we congratulate the entire team on its success!
Vel, with its well-worn and time-tested story of twin brothers, separated then united, has a lot of great action sequences, fun comic relief and some energized witty punch dialogues that make the movie a well-packaged commercial entertainer. Playing lead roles in the movie are Suriya, Asin, Vadivelu and Nasser. A Diwali 2008 release, Hari’s Vel is still going strong in theatres. Today, as Vel celebrates a successful 100-day run, we wish the team behind the success many more super hits!
