Moser Baer, Mirchi Movies and Duet Movies have come together to present Vellitherai that promises to be an all-round entertainer while also dealing with the subjects of good versus evil, success versus failure through the struggle of film aspirants.
The movie’s male leads are played by Prakash Raj and Prithiviraj – the winning combination that gave us the moving Mozhi. Playing the main female roles are Gopika and Lakshmi Rai. The movie is a remake of the Malayalam superhit Udhayaanu Tharam, which had Mohanlal, Meena and Srinivasan in the lead. Vellitherai is directed by Viji, who has gone to great extents to make Vellitherai as inspiring as the original.
G.V. Prakash’s dazzling compositions for this movie will be released on 18th December and the guest of honour at the event will be none other than the hero of the original, Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal!
Another important aspect of this music launch is that there will be a felicitation of the legendary music composer duo Vishwanadhan-Ramamoorthy.
The launch of Vellitherai’s music also marks the launch of Prakash Raj’s new music label Duet Music.
