He took us by surprise with his fun-filled entertainer Chennai 600028, and now he is ready to make what seems like a more serious film. Venkat Prabhu’s next directorial venture is titled Saroja and will be produced by Siva under the Amma Creations banner. Saroja marks the 14th movie from this production house.
The story has at its fulcrum–a woman. Venkat aims at making the movie Hollywood style. Events taking place at different places, culminate at one point–this is how he intends to build the screenplay. The leady lead is played by debutant Vega. Also acting in the movie are S.P.B. Charan, Premji Amaran, Chennai 600028 Siva, Sumanth and Sampath. Prakash Raj and Jeyaram are cast in important roles in the film.
Cinematography is by Shakthi Saravanan and the music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Venkat Prabhu is the man behind the story, screenplay, dialogue and direction.
