Like a lucky mascot, Vijayalakshmi has acted in two offbeat flicks, both running to resounding unexpected victories. So you would think her kitty would be full of new tantalizing projects. But no! Vijayalakshmi has some conditions when it comes to choosing roles.
The young starlet aims at establishing herself as a capable artiste and hence declines roles that are a little too much on the glamour side. Skin show is the faster route to fame, but she has decided not to take that route. Vijayalakshmi is done with playing the naïve, quiet girl. She wants to play the part of a bubbly and lively girl instead. Variety in roles is what she is looking at. Right now, the actress is busy scrutinizing the offers the come that way, declining most of them because they do not satisfy her conditions.
Let’s hope she’ll stick to her decisions unlike many ambitious young starlets, who were eventually forced to get comfortable in skimpy outfits!
