Recently bestowed with the title ‘Puratchi Thalapathy’, Vishal is busy with his upcoming venture Sathyam opposite Nayantara. Vishal seems to be on a lucky streak with all his movies doing great at the box office.
Sathyam is extra special because he plays the role of a cop for the first time – an Assistant Commissioner at that. His close cut hair gives him the right look for the character that he is to portray, further enhanced by his tall broad frame. Nayantara plays the role of a journalist. Experience as the inquisitive med-kid in Ghajini should come in handy! Also playing an important role in the movie is Kannada star Upendra.
The movie is simultaneously being made in Telugu as Salute. Already the Telugu versions of Vishal’s Malaikottai and Thamirabarani have been quite successful. Hence he greatly hopes that Salute will follow suit.
