Actor Ajith (also known as Ultimate Star Ajith) is ready to be on screens again with his film Kireedom almost complete.
This is only the 2 nd film for the Ajith-and-Trisha pair after Ji and one waits to see what magic will be created on-screen. Others in the casr include Raj Kiran, Vivek and Saranya.
This Kireedom is based on the Malayalam movie of the same name starring Mohanlal, which was a hit in Kerala. Now, one hopes that our younger star too will fill the box-office coffers with his version of Kireedom .
Produced by Suresh Balaji under the banner Sujatha Cine Arts in association with Mumbai's Adlabs, Kireedom is Ajith's come-back film after Aalwar, although not as much hyped as the new Billa is expected to be. Directed by A.I. Vijay, the film's soundtrack is by young master G.V. Prakash and the film is expected to release on May 1, 2007.
Cinematographer Nirav Shah must be specially mentioned for his camera work as he brings a fresh look to every film he shoots – as with Arindhum Ariyamalum, Pattiyal , Sanda Kozhi and the recent mega-box-office hit Pokkiri , where Ilayathalapathy Vijay looks simply smashing, thanks in a large part to Nirav's slick work. These days, it seems that a Nirav Shah film means a good-looking film – let's see if he remains true to form in Kireedom too!
After Kireedom, Ajith will be busy with Billa (to be directed by Vishnuvardhan and shot by Nirav Shah again) and Jaani.
