Anuya, who debuted through Vikatan Talkies’ Siva Manasula Sakthi, is a Film Institute product and a theatre artist. She followed the tactic of method acting for her role in SMS. The film, as well as Anuya's role in it, became very popular among audiences. Stage plays and movies -- which does she enjoy more? Though she likes doing movies, stage plays and their themes fascinate her a lot, she says. Now Anuya is busy with Madurai Sambavam. Hard working and result-oriented, Anuya is equipping herself for tinselville by learning various things. She is currently learning salsa and belly dancing.
