Veteran film-maker D. Rama Naidu added yet another achievement to his already illustrious career as he enters the 2008 Guinness Book of World Records for having produced films in nine languages. The producer-director has made quite a few popular films under his banner ‘Suresh Productions’ in languages like Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, English, Bengali, Oriya, Assamese and of course, his mother-tongue Telugu.
He doesn’t quite believe in dubbing films even though he isn’t well-versed with all the languages he makes movies in. In fact, the veteran film-maker is also entering the Marathi film industry with a new production titled Majhi Aai, to be directed by Kanchan Nayak.
His first successful film was Ramudu Bheemudu, which was later remade in Tamil, Hindi and Kannada. He made several Tamil films, including Vasantha Malligai, Thiru Manglam, Devai Peravi, Kainatu and Thannikattu Raja.
