Her film career started with Boys. But the film didn't do much for her. This was followed by Sachein with Vijay. That too didn't take her to great heights. And then came Chennai Kaadhal. Nothing much to say about that either.
After three failures, Genelia was termed 'unlucky'. It was when her Telugu films Bommarillu and Thee did well that she found her way back into Kollywood.
With her strong will, she is set to make her presence felt in Kollywood again. She is reenacting her role in Bommarillu in the Tamil remake named Santosh Subramanium. She is acting opposite Jeyam Ravi and the film should surely do wonders for her career.
