Rathnamala Movies' Inba is a love story. The story is about the love between a young man and woman and the impact that it leaves on the man's life. Sneha and Shaam play the lead roles.
P.B. Balaji’s compositions for Inba stand out, bearing his unique style. There is an enjoyable assortment of tunes he has created for the film. The six-track album does a good job of entertaining the listeners to the core. Knockouts like ‘Soora Theynga’ and ‘Yaro Yaro’ are examples for the mass appeal of Balaji’s music.
‘Alankatti’ provides a happy invitation to dance. The tempo is fast and uniform throughout the song. Shalini’s voice is a phenomenal asset to the song supported by Tippu’s rendering that enhances the feel.
‘Kabul Nattu’ has a specific feel to it, a genuine experience that caresses and comforts the senses. Suchithra has exhibited her well-honed skills for the song that gives a musical dimension to ‘Kabul Nattu’.
‘Mayakalli’ by Anuradha Sriram and Jassie Gift has a fiery spirit. It follows a familiar rythmic pattern on a fast pace, yet evoking a fresh, cheerful mood.
‘Vizhigal Meethu’ is a lusty song dripping with love and romance. The music has a charming classical twist, replete with exotic and rich instrumentals. Naresh Iyer and Shreya Goshal’s vocals give ample support.
‘Soora Theynga’ by Shankar Mahadevan is an earthy offering. It is based on a familiar tune, but it lures participation and the listeners are clearly swept along with the flow.
Karthik’s peppy voice booms out as soon as ‘Yaro Yaro’ begins. When Chinmayi too joins in, we are taken on a fantastic flight
