Director Jeeva passed away suddenly this morning at 3:00 am in St. Petersburg. The director was in Russia, for the shooting schedule for his movie Dhaam Dhoom. It is reported that the director died of a sudden heart attack.
Jeeva was a very talented director who gave us films like 12B, Ullam Ketkume and the recent hit Unnale Unnale. His films have been youthful and full of life, telling stories that touch your heart. He has the credit of introducing good artistes like Shaam, Arya, Vinay and Tanisha to the silver screen.
Dhaam Dhoom, starring Jeyam Ravi and Kangan Ranuat, had completed about one month of shooting. His death has resulted in a great loss for the world of Cinema. His films have been like a breath of fresh air in Kollywood.
The entire Galatta team has been associated with him for the promotion of his films. We are deeply grieved by his death. We offer our deepest condolences to the family members.
