Tomorrow, Kamal Haasan celebrates his birthday.
As part of the celebrations, the Kamal Haasan Narpani Iyakkam has organised a blood donation camp throughout the state. About 500 fans from each district are participating in this camp. A total of 15000 fans are expected to donate blood at these camps being organised at various government hospitals throughout the month of November.
The inaugural function was held on 4th November at the HUC School at D'Meles Road, Pulianthope, Chennai. Actress Gowthami inaugurated the function in which Dr. Dhanapal, Dean of Kilpauk Medical College was a special guest. Dr. Kantharaj, Dr. Raghupathy, Dr. Pathy, Dr. Ashok Kumar and Poonga Nagar MLA Mr. Srinivasan participated in the camp.
The function was organised by Mr. Gunaseelan, Secretary, Kamal Haasan Narpani Iyakkam, P.R.O. Nikhil, Poonganagar Karunakaran and V. Kesavan. Central Chennai District Secretaries Dharani, Ramesh Babu, Krishnan, Raja, North Chennai District Secretaries Shankar, Maran and South Chennai District Secretaries John, Ezhumalai participated in the function and felicitated the guests.
