The first festive season in the upcoming year is Pongal and there are lots of movies awaiting release. The most talked about movies in the industry are Pokkiri starring Vijay and Asin and Aalwar starring Ajith and Asin. There are also others movies which are to be released.
The Karthi and Priyamani starrer, Paruthi Veeran is also going to be released during the forthcoming festive season. The movie is being directed by Ameer and Karthi will make his debut as a hero in the movie. He was earlier an associate of Manirathnam.
Karthi said that he is looking forward for the success of the movie and he added that he learnt the language used in and around Madurai to make the movie more lively. Son of veteran actor Sivakumar and brother of Surya, Karthi will surely make it big in the industry.
