The Kerala State film awards for the year 2006 were presented on Wednesday 13th June 2007. The ceremony was inaugurated by Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan. The award winners, including the actors Prithviraj, Padmapriya and Khushboo came to receive their awards. Khushboo won the jury award and Padmapriya won the award for best supporting role.
