Actor Madhavan has many roles to his credit. Actor, philanthropist, brand ambassador... In line with his avatar as a brand activist, on Tuesday the star carried out a hour-long session with a lecture and demonstration on 'Global Warming and its effects on people'. The lecture-campaign was part of the launch of Breath Eazy, a product of Pankajakasthuri. At the venue, Madhavan's poster with the words, "A cocktail of 100 thousand chemicals surrounds you," covering his face like a mask gave a prelude to the theme of the lecture.
Maddy arrived late to the venue, complaining about the dense traffic and resulting pollution that is affecting the planet. He also drew a reference from his experience to the evening’s campaign.
Maddy launched Pankajakasthuri’s 'Breathe Eazy', a herbal product that helps to battle respiratory illnesses caused mainly by pollution. Speaking about how people all over the world have caused such a big damage to the ecological balance, Maddy highlighted how even small changes made in our lifestyle can bring about a big difference, like switching off air-conditioners after work, using car-pools, commuting through trains instead of planes. He also emphasized the responsibility of every human being to adopt eco-friendly practices in all respects of life.
J. Hareendran Nair, Chairman and founder, stated that usage of specific ingredients in a specific combination works as effective medicine that can fight against respiratory illnesses such as asthma. He also added that Breath Eazy is their way of demystifying and simplifying respiratory treatment. "Instead of being on the medicine chest, it has found a place on the dining table," said Mr.Nair.
