V2 Multimedia, a new firm, is producing Vedakozhi. Vimal is the debut hero, with Mumtaz, Malavika and Swathy as heroines. Mumtaz plays the role of a prostitute’s daughter who runs a fast food shop. Malavika is a medical college student and Swathy is a police officer. This film is about the life of a prostitute; so the shooting is to be done in the red light areas of Mumbai. The crew is making all arrangements for shooting to be taken there
