Though the title Muni may sound a little unusual, the film’s eerie spiritual connotation is likely to be a crowd puller. Earlier, Lawrence had directed Telugu films like Mass, Style and Don.
With Muni, however, Lawrence makes his directorial debut in Tamil cinema. Recently, Lawrence was in the midst of controversy over the dubbed version of his Telugu film Latchiyam, starring Prabhu Deva and himself in the lead roles.
Ragava Lawrence, Raj Kiran, Vethika, M S Baskar, S N Lakshmi and Kovai Sarala are playing the prominent roles in Muni and the film is set to hit theatres by this weekend.
