Poll interferes with box office collections

The films Tirupathi, Pudhupettai, Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu, Something Something Unakkum Enakkum, Godfather Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu are scheduled for a release in this summer. The Election Commission had announced the poll on 8th May on Tamilnadu. Several production houses are now planning to schedule an early release or postpone their plans to release their films, which were scheduled to hit the theatres this summer. Since the election fever is supposed to play an important role to affect the box office collections, the producers are in a hurry to make their decisions suitably so that their films do not fall victim to the vagaries of elections.
