The movie launch of Porukki was held at AVM Ganesh temple.
The chief guests for the occasion were Director Ramanarayanan, President of Tamil Film Producers' Council, M.A. Kaja Moideen, Anbalaya Prabhakaran, Vice-Presidents of the Council, Shiva Shakthi Pandian, Secretary of the Council, Kalaipuli.G. Sekaran, President Chennai, Chengai and Thiruvalluvar District Film Distributors' Association.
Sundar C., Nadhiya, Napolean and Vivek were present for the occasion. Director Perarsu and Sibi were also present.
The film directed by Shakthi Chidambaram and produced by Cinema Paradise has music by Dhina.
The film stars Sundar C., Nadhiya, Napoleon and Vivek in three different roles - grandfather, father and son.
