Usual hero-roles do not interest Jeevaa. His characters make a deep impact in the minds of the movie-audience, influencing their emotions.
Katradhu Tamil was a typical example of one of Jeevaa’s offbeat roles. After the buzz he created through Katradhu Tamil, Jeevaa wil be seen in Rameshwaram in yet another different role.
Jeevaa plays the role of a hardened Sri Lankan refugee who comes from the war-field Jafna to the refugees’ camp in Rameshwaram. He at first resists and then yields to the calls of love. Bhavana plays Jeevaa’s love interest in the movie. Venkat Bose is the bad guy who comes in between this budding romance.
Debutante Selvam has directed the movie and SN Raja has produced the movie under the ITA Films banner. Yegambaram and Gurudev are the cinematographers, Suresh ARS the editor, Niru is the music composer and Action Prakash is the stunt master.
The movie is releasing tomorrow, November 30th.
For this particular role, Jeevaa has lost weight. He has also attended special classes to speak the Sri Lankan Tamil.
