Tamil New Year is just around the corner; like Deepavali and Pongal, this is a gala time for releases statewide. Tamil New Year too is about to begin with a blast of releases of big Tamil films hitting the theatres. Here's a look at what's in store for Tamil movie-lovers:
Cheran and Navya Nair starrer Maya Kkannadi has been in the news for long and is going to be one of the most awaited films in the beginning of Tamil New Year.
Chennai 600 028, directed by Venkat Prabhu, has taken a long time in making, but is still touted to be the worth the wait.
Unnale Unnale is also in the Tamil New Year race where Vinay, Sadha and Tanisha are playing the lead roles. Madurai Veeran is the next Jithan Ramesh-starrer and will also be released on the same day.
Apart from these, many films like Arputha Theevu, Kaanal Neer, Pirappu and Thiru Ranga are releasing this weekend.
