Director Siddiq, who has given us comedy classics like Ramji Rao Speaking, Hitler and Godfather and directed hit Tamil films like Friends and Engal Enna, is returning to Kollywood with Sadhu Miranda.
"Life is like a highway. An accident can happen at any time. Sometimes, we ourselves invite it. When we are going about carefully, others sometimes come and clash with us. In short, the environment becomes the villain for every man. A very gentle man is suddenly faced with a problem. How he manages something that is beyond his normal abilities, is the story of the film," says Siddiq.
The film features Prasanna and Kavya Madhavan in the lead roles. Prasanna plays a young graduate looking for a job. Kavya Madhavan plays the role of a student who is a TV presenter in her spare time.
Though the main story line is serious, the film moves along a comedy track. Abbas, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Kalabhavan Mani, Charlie, Ramesh Khanna, M.S. Bhaskar and Karunaas are also part of the film.
Music for the film has been composed by Deepak Dev and lyrics are by Na. Muthukumar.
