Director Raja is remaking the Telugu hit Bommarillu as Santosh Subramanium. The original starred Siddharth and Genelia. Raja is remaking the film with his brother Jayam Ravi.
Prakash Raj and former international cricketer Sadagoppan Ramesh are also part of the cast. Music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Boys fame Siddharth has lent his voice for one song.
His earlier Telugu hit Nuvvastanantae Nenodantana was remade in Tamil as Unakkum Enakkum which had Jayam Ravi and Trisha in the lead.
Santosh... is expected to release in January.
