After Kaalai, Simbu's next is Silambattam. The actor has currently stopped his work on Kettavan and is focussing on the Lakshmi Movie Makers production.
Silambattam is the directorial debut of cinematographer Saravanan. As with most Simbu films, this film will also have two heroines. One of the leading ladies is rumoured to be Shriya, who has reportedly signed the film for an astronomical sum. The second heroine is rumoured to be Sneha.
It may be recalled that Sneha was earlier offered the lead role in Kaalai, which she was unable to accept due to call sheet problems. It is learnt that Sneha is very keen to do Silambattam and is deperately trying to squeeze dates from her existing hectic schedules of her ongoing Telugu and Tamil projects.
In Tamil, she is currently busy with Inba with Shaam, Pirivom Santhippom with Cheran, Aruvadai with Mammootty and Pandi with Lawrence.
